Anyone, anytime, anywhere!

How about some Wisconsin cheese to go with your whine this morning, Fresno State?

LOSERS!

Not even the referees could help you out.....incomplete pass? The missed call of the century! But, cheaters never prosper!

"We had some opportunities to make plays," Fresno State coach Pat Hill said. "I think Kevin Goessling is going to be a great [kicker] for us.

"I think Kevin Goessling," Hill said, "when it's all over, will be one of the best kickers that's ever gone through here.

"This game does not fall on him or any player. It was a team loss. There were so many missed opportunities."

Uh huh. Face it, you're just not that good. All mouth and hype. Anyone? Anytime? Anywhere?

Well, the #21 rated.......(or will that be unrated!) Fresno State Bulldogs are on the losing trail now! But do keep Kevin Goessling, he's GREAT..................Ü

That's Nacho Cheese!

Well it seems last Wednesday, Karen decided to clean out the pantry. She came across a 10 pound can of nacho cheese sauce.

The can was old and kinda bulging. As she took it from the pantry to the kitchen, it exploded. She dropped it on her right little toe and broke it (her toe that is!) Now, with yellow gooey nacho cheese sauce all over the floor and her hopping around the kitchen with a broken pinky toe, she slips and her left foot goes under the refrigerator where she breaks her LEFT little toe and cuts the one next to it!

Well, she's been home for a week resting her feet.

Monday, when it was 106 degrees, she is covered up with a blanket, shivering, cold. She said her stomach has been upset for about a week. She has a low grade fever of 101.

So, after 4 or 5 days of this she decides to visit her doctor. Her doctor says she has the West Nile virus.

No, she's not going to die......but she is sick with it.

Well, they say things always come it 3's.........let's see.....2 broken toes + West Nile = 3.

Give her a call if you want to cheer her up! (559) 430-4594.

Pismo twice in a month?

Karen and I spent 10 glorious days during 2 different trips to Pismo Beach in the month of August! And what fun it was! The weather was a balmy 70 degrees during the day and down to a bone chilling 54 at night.

Last Saturday, we drove from Pismo to Cambria to see some friends of our, Joe & Vicki Herkel. They used to own Memory Lane Studios in Clovis. They "retired" in Cambria and opened a gallery! You can see it here http://www.memorylanecambria.com/

Here is a picture of Karen and Vicki at the gallery.

We left Cambria, but not before going by Nitt Witt Ridge. You've probably heard of it......but if not you can check it out here http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/12262.
Then it was off to Morro Bay on our way back to Pismo. We had fish and chips at The Whales Tale in Morro Bay.
I can't seem to go to Morro Bay without getting a picture or 2 of those smoke stacks! I guess if I didn't aim my camera at them, I wouldn't get a picture of them!
